Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Mobirec Private Limited handles personal data when you use the Mobirec app, website, or support channels. Reading this Policy does not itself grant blanket consent. Where consent is required, we request it through an appropriate notice or choice. You may contact us about your privacy choices or withdraw consent where applicable; doing so may limit services that need the affected data.

Depending on what you use, we may collect your name, mobile number, email, profile or verification details; recipient or consumer identifiers; operator, biller, plan, amount, transaction and refund records; support messages; and device, app, IP address, session, security and diagnostic information. We collect information you provide, information generated by use of the service, and status or confirmation details from our service and payment partners.

Payments may be handled by external payment partners. We may receive transaction references, payment method category, status, and limited account details needed for reconciliation, refunds, and support. Do not share your UPI PIN, card CVV, or banking password with Mobirec support. The exact information handled by a payment provider is governed by that provider's notice. Any in-app balance and ledger information are used to display eligible transactions and resolve account issues.

We use data to create and protect accounts; authenticate users; request and track recharges, bill payments, and partner products; present receipts, balances, and rewards; respond to support requests; reconcile payments and refunds; detect abuse; maintain the service; and meet applicable tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations. We may use service and diagnostic data to understand and improve reliability, subject to available choices and applicable law.

We share only information reasonably needed with relevant telecom and DTH providers, billers and their integrated BBPS partners, recharge or gift-card fulfilment partners, payment providers, hosting, authentication, notification, support and analytics vendors, and professional advisers. A provider may process information under its own privacy notice when it supplies its own service. We may disclose information to authorities where legally required or to protect rights and prevent fraud. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

The app may ask for permissions for specific features, such as selecting a recharge number from contacts or receiving notifications. You can manage permissions in device settings, although a related feature may stop working. If a device biometric lock is offered, the device's biometric system performs verification; Mobirec does not request your fingerprint or face image for that feature.

We may use cookies or local storage to keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember preferences, and measure service performance. You can manage browser or device settings, but disabling essential storage may affect login and other features.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and measures to protect data during transmission and storage. No service can guarantee absolute security. Data may be processed by providers in locations permitted by applicable law and their arrangements; this Policy does not promise that every system or provider stores data only in India.

We keep personal data while needed for the purposes described here, including an active account, pending transactions, support, fraud prevention, disputes, and applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory duties. Retention periods differ by record type and provider. When no longer required, we delete or anonymise the data, subject to lawful backup and recordkeeping processes.

You may request access, correction, updating, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law through the in-app account controls, where available, or the support contact below. If you request account deletion, we will disable or delete the account and delete or anonymise data no longer needed. We may retain identifiable transaction or other records where needed for legal duties, fraud prevention, accounting, or disputes. We will explain applicable limitations when responding.

Mobirec accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and take appropriate steps.
